RLTV
RLTV is a streaming network tailored for an audience aged 50 and above. When the decision was made for the network to transition into an internet-based streaming service, I was approached to assist in reimagining RLTV's visual identity.
Commencing with the creation of a fresh logo, I helped guide RLTV toward a new identity and breathed new life into its online presence by revamping its promotional package.

LOGO DEVELOPMENT
The network is built around the main brand RLTV and its two sub-brands RLPRIME and RLURBAN. During initial development we explored many logo options and teamed up with a writer to create tag lines that would inform the designs and eventually become part of the logo end tag animations.

GRAPHICS PACKAGE
I focused on typography that would be able to hold the viewers' attention, with a font that balanced boldness with readability, serving to enhance the logo while offering interesting design possibilities.
The concept spurred the creation of typographic collages achieved by deconstructing and reconstructing both the logo and titles. This method facilitated the development of dynamic transitions and culminated in a cohesive and rhythmically engaging promo package.

After solidifying the basic concept encompassing logos, typography, and fundamental design components, I started with the design process. This involved creating and subsequently animating the logo end tags and logo bugs. I also created a collection of tune-in title cards, each designated for a specific day of the week. Additionally, I developed transitions that seamlessly guided viewers from programming to promo content, as well as bumpers, promo end pages, and a package for lower thirds.
For each graphic element I produced an After Effects toolkit that was delivered to in-house producers and editors at RLTV.

We introduced two distinct color palettes: vibrant colors for daytime promos and a more subdued palette for nighttime programming.
